Low FODMAP Diet

As a certified FODMAP dietitian, I can guide you in a FODMAP diet that can highlight certain symptom causing FODMAP foods and keep them low in your diet. FODMAPs are sugars that aren’t absorbed properly in the gut, which can set off IBS symptoms, like bloating, gas and abdominal pain. FODMAPs are found naturally in many foods and food additives.

Together we can challenge each FODMAP group to find out which groups need to be kept low in your diet and which groups can be safely integrated back into your diet.

The process involves:

Phase 1 - Trial Phase (4-6 weeks)

Elimination of FODMAP foods

Phase 2 - Challenge and Reintroduction Diet (8-12 weeks)

Trial of foods that could trigger IBS symptoms

Phase 3 - Maintenance Diet

Long-term plan to reduce FODMAP foods that can trigger symptoms
